Bernhard Alvine participated in a Los Angeles artist collective to display and showcase a number of selected works over the course of three weeks. The exhibit featured multidisciplinary artists and mediums and was attended by hundreds of patrons.

MELROSE AVEnue ART POPUP

Bernhard Alvine was invited to be a featured artist in an art popup event in the renowned design and artist district of Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles, CA. The event included discussions with the artists, poetry reading, and an exchange of ideas. The art popup was one of our first major events and came about as a result of a spontaneous introduction by a family member who learned of the popup after introducing the organizer to Bernhard. A number of artists were featured, including painters, performing artists, and poets.

PEPPERDINE LAW COMMISSION AND DONATIONS

Bernhard Alvine was asked to create artwork for the Student Leadership Board of Pepperdine University School of Law. He completed a series of three paintings, including a vision of the school’s Malibu campus under moonlight, an insignia of the school’s logo, and an abstraction of ocean waves, all connected with identical canvas size, similar gold undertones, and oceanic themes. The paintings hang in the law school’s board room for the student leaders.
